Biodomo Competition. Science Park, Granada.
The main objective is to provide the visitor with a global but precise idea of this very broad concept using the greatest diversity of media, supports and technologies available, all of them combined in a living scenario that represents the main terrestrial ecosystems, being enveloped within a large tropical garden.
Water as the origin of life and its evolution throughout time, links all the exhibition content through this visual and sound reference that accompanies the visitor throughout the tour.
The development of the proposal is divided into the following actions:
THE PAVILION:
These are all the actions related to the completion of the envelope of the pavilion according to criteria of compatibility with the architectural proposal of the 4th phase of the Science Park, aimed at generating an interior space that allows the recreation of a natural environment as accurately as possible.
THE ECOLOGICAL COVER:
An upper walkable green roof with different plant species connects to the large terrace and can be accessed from the main lobby.
WELCOME PAVILION AND MACROPHYTE LAKE:
There are two distinct elements located next to the main access of the fourth phase and in the area destined for the flight of birds of prey.
MUSHROOMS:
4 large differentiated “mushrooms” containing aspects related to biodiversity, conservation and ecology. Its design is intended to be innovative, emblematic, attractive and endowed with great iconographic potential.
